HAVE A GOOD LAUGH WITH MAVI

How did we find Mavi?
As Mavi would say, we ran out of guests and needed to dive into our pool of friends to fill the gap. Well, that is definitely not what happened. Ever since she, in a true Italian-grandma fashion, adopted Miška upon arriving in Denmark, it was clear that Mavi and her pure energy would be a great fit for Humans of SDU! And since we already interviewed Fabio, her partner, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have our first couple on the podcast, now could we?
“I was happy that I was going to Morocco for my internship. But it turned out differently and I wanted to go home so I started to think about lying about one of my grandparents dying. I am very stubborn – but I am also unable to lie. And saying that would involve killing my already late grandfather a second time, and I couldn’t really do that.”

And even though we could only record the episode online, we had such a blast with Mavi. Her personality (and especially her very dark and sharp sense of humor) really shone through. We also conserved our voices – well, except for laughing very hard – because it was actually difficult to get a word in with Mavi.
