LET’S TALKS PHILOSOPHY AND JUSTICE WITH FREDERIK
In the 39th episode of Humans of SDU, meet Frederik, a research assistant at SDU whose research topic is none other than Intergenerational Justice. We learn about the changes the pandemic might cause for families and expecting parents and in our daily routines – but also what Freddie suggests as a helpful trick to help you in the quarantine life.
- How did Frederik move from his MA thesis into a research assistant role?
- Why was Frederik paranoid about his work Zoom lunches with colleagues?
- How does being vegan challenge you in your daily life?
How did we find Frederik?
Harry Potter brought him together with Miška and Anna when Frederik bravely joined their team at a Harry Potter-themed pub quiz and more than proved his worth as a teammate as they took the win! One quiz led to another – and to many more interesting conversations – and he inevitably discovered Miška was involved in a podcast. We are happy to say Frederik was interested to join as a guest of Humans of SDU!
Unfortunately, we were only able to meet Freddie in the virtual space and wave through Skype. But we enjoyed it anyway as he took us through the interesting issues he studies at his work at SDU – such as family policies or moral discussion over justice; yes, we got philosophical! – and showed how passionate he is about his research! So if you are interested not only in meeting this friendly young SDU researcher but also in learning more about the society around us, this episode of the Humans of SDU podcast is for you!
