MEET YOUR NEW FAVOURITE AUTHOR – MARTA!
This week’s episode of Humans of SDU features Marta who is doing her PhD in Urban Studies at the Department of Political Science at SDU. But that is not all: she also publishes her own novels in Portuguese! In this episode we talk about Marta’s favourite books, how hard it is to be an author and how to combat writer’s block.
- What is Marta’s house in Hogwarts?
- How many published books she has?
- Why did she choose Denmark over other Scandinavian countries?
How did we find Marta?
Marta is one of those rare guests who we do not know from before. She luckily found Humans of SDU on Instagram, liked the project, and reached out to us! It is always extremely refreshing and inspiring to find some guests who volunteer to be on the podcast – gives us a lot of motivation! If you want to be a guest on one Humans of SDU episode like Marta was, check out this link.
A ray of sunshine – that is how we can describe Marta. From the minute she entered our Zoom call, we knew this was going to be a fun Humans of SDU episode. Like our hosts, Franka and Sofie, Marta studies something that is not quite creative so she has a separate hobby as her ‘creative outlet’. To be honest, this episode with Marta made us want to learn Portuguese. Why? I guess you’re just gonna have to find out listening to the 48th episode of Humans of SDU!
